Day 1: Helsinki
Helsinki offers a wide variety of things to experience ranging from an array of architectural gems, art, design and cultural offerings to great shopping facilities. Sightseeing opportunities range from a tour on a pub tram to boat cruises through the islands lying off the city shoreline. Proximity to the sea and forest gives Helsinki its distinctive ambience. Day 2: Helsinki – Turku, 175 km
After breakfast head for the King’s Road tourist route that winds through fascinating small towns, charming villages and scenic countryside. Visit the Mustio Manor, the Fiskars Ironworks Village and the ruins of the Raasepori Castle. In Turku Visit the Castle and the Cathedral, Aboa Vetus Museum and the wooden workshop houses of the Luostarinmäki Handicrafts Museum. Overnight at Scandic Hotel Plaza. (B)

Day 3: Turku to Rauma, 95 km
After breakfast drive through Naantali to the coastal town of Rauma. Visit the lace shops to see the demonstration of lace-making. Enjoy a walk in the old town.Overnight at Cumulus Hotel. (B)

Day 4: Turku to Hameenlinna,190 km
After breakfast head for Hameenlinna that boasts of 700 yr. old brick castle. Visit the home of the famous composer Jean Sibileus. Overnight at Rantasipi Aulanko Hotel. (B)

Day 5: Hameenlinna
After breakfast take a city tour to the Aulanko park and climb up the old observation tower for stunning landscape. Overnight at Rantasipi Aulanko Hotel. (B)

Day 6: Hameenlinna – Tampere 157 km
After breakfast head for Tampere, situated on a narrow isthmus between two large lakes. Enjoy the lake scenery from top of an observation tower or from aboard a sightseeing boat. Tampere’s industrial heritage is reflected in the architecture of the city centre and its museums. Overnight in Tampere at Scandic Hotel Rosendahl. (B)

Day 7: Tampere – Vaasa 242 km
After breakfast head for Vaasa. The road passes vast green plains. Detour to Ähtäri Zoo, home to 65 species of animal. Seinäjoki is home to some remarkable buildings designed by Alvar Aalto,. Vaasa offers many sightseeing attractions and cruises to the fantastic archipelago off the city shoreline. Overnight at Radisson SAS Royal Hotel. (B)

Day 8: Vaasa – Kokkola, 150 km
After breakfast take the scenic route known as the Seven Bridges Archipelago Road to view spectacular coastal scenery and attractive small towns. You can get insight into the region’s tar-making, seafaring traditions and the skilfully constructed wooden houses. The northernmost point of the route, Kokkola, has one of Finland’s most expansive areas of wooden buildings. Overnight at Sokos Hotel Kaarle. (B)

Day 9: Kokkola – Oulu, 198 km
Continuing up north along the coastline, you pass Kalajoki, known for its sandy beaches, and Raahe with a well-preserved wooden town area. Oulu is recognised for its excellence in state-of-the-art technology. Tietomaa Science Centre is an attraction for the whole family and the many parks offer opportunities for leisurely walks. Cycling is also an excellent way to explore the city. Overnight at Radisson SAS Hotel Oulu. (B)

Day 10: Oulu – Rovaniemi, 207 km
Head for Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland’s capital town. On the Arctic Circle meet Santa Claus in his Workshop Village every day of the year. The wonderful natural surroundings, fells and rivers, provide opportunities for a variety of activities including river cruises, white-water rafting and visits to reindeer farms. Overnight at Clarion Hotel Santa Claus. (B)

Day 11: Rovaniemi – Helsinki
Depart for Helsinki for your onward flight. (B)
