Nairobi-Samburu-Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara-Nairobi
Day 01
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Dinner this evening is at the Carnivore Restaurant/ Asha Bhatia Restaurant.
After dinner, return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 02
An early breakfast in the hotel. Heading north after an early breakfast, you will pass near Thika, and then on through Nanyuki town, a bustling town in the foothills of Africa's second highest mountain, Mount Kenya.
Samburu River

You will continue north through some breathtaking scenery, dotted with rushing mountain streams and fields of tea and coffee and onward eventually reaching a dusty outpost known as Isiolo. From here, it's a fairly short hop to your lunchtime destination: Samburu Shaba.

Located high above the Samburu River in the Shaba Game Reserve, this lodge cleverly incorporates the beautiful natural springs as one of its special features, and also offers the perfect base from which to explore the Shaba Reserve, as well as its sister reserve - Buffalo Springs, to the west (360kms - 5.5hrs).

Lunch in the lodge. Afternoon game viewing drive in the reserve downed with the scenic beauty. The reserve is renowned for its unique animals that include Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Generuk and the Grevys Zebra among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 03
Full day at Shaba with both morning and afternoon game viewing drives in Shaba and Buffalo Springs Reserves. All meals and overnight at your Lodge.

Day 04
After an early breakfast bid farewell to Shaba as you travel south through Isiolo, crossing the northernmost foothills of Mount Kenya, until you get to the town of Nanyuki. Here you will head west to Nyahururu, still known to many as Thomson's Falls for its 237-foot cascade.
Lion Hill Lodge

After a brief stopover, travel in a southerly direction to your next destination: Lake Nakuru. You will arrive at Lion Hill Lodge affording unforgettable views of the lake from its hillside perch. The Lodge also is a perfect base from which to explore the lake, with its fabulous array of birds as well as many types of game, including Waterbuck, Rhino, Leopard and Buffalo (390Kms - 6hrs)

Lunch in the lodge.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park.
After a rewarding game drive return to the lodge for entertainment by traditional dancers followed by dinner.

Lake Nakuru
Day 05
Early breakfast in the lodge. Leaving flamingo fringed Lake Nakuru behind; you head southwards and turn right at Maai Mahiu to ascend up over the top of the Mau Escarpment. Then heading due south, you travel towards Narok, gateway to the Masai Mara and district headquarters of this part of Masailand.

You will travel across the "Breadbasket" of Kenya, covered with acres of Wheat and Barley; you will reach your destination, Mara Sarova Camp, by lunchtime.

Located within the boundaries of the Masai Mara Game Reserve, this comfortable luxury camp offers delicious meals and a swimming pool, and makes a perfect base from which to explore the wonders of this corner of Kenya (325kms - 5hrs).

Evening game drive in this magnificent game reserve. Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Game abounds here, particularly when the migration is on, and millions of Wildebeests and Zebras make their way back and forth across the Mara River on their annual trek.

The Mara is also noted for its abundance of Lions - particularly the Superb Black Manned Males. You will see lots of Elephants here often in large herds, as well as if you're lucky Leopard, Cheetah and Rhino. All of the Big-Five are residents. You are sure to see the African Buffalo.

Get the cameras ready, stock up on film and enjoy yourselves!
Return to the camp in time to refresh for dinner.

Day 06

Enjoy a day of uninterrupted game drives in this popular reserve renowned for its variety of plains game such as the Wildebeest and Zebra and its majestic predators.
All meals and overnight at the Camp.
Overnight: Sarova Mara Camp – (L,D,B)

Day 07
After an early breakfast in the camp. Depart Masai Mara and head back to Narok, district headquarters of this part of Masailand and then travel across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley. Keep an eye out for herds of Giraffe and Gazelle and head up the Rift Escarpment on a road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II.
You will arrive in Kenya's bustling capital city in the early afternoon (300kms - 4.5hrs)
Lunch on own arrangements.
Later transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

Day 08
Arrival in Mumbai.
