DAY 1 - ARRIVE AUCKLAND
On arrival in Auckland, ‘the City of Sails’, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel by a private vehicle. Later visit Sky Tower, the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere. Overnight in Auckland.

DAY 2 - AUCKLAND – WAITOMO CAVES - ROTORUA
This morning, travel south to the Fertile Waikato Region and reach the ‘Thermal City’ of Rotorua by coach. En route, enjoy a guided tour at Waitomo Glowworm Caves. Overnight in Rotorua. (B)

DAY 3 - ROTORUA
This morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour by coach. Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mud pools and roaring geysers. See bird life, trout and other wildlife at Rainbow Springs before viewing a New Zealand farm show featuring sheep dog demonstrations, cow milking and the stars of our sheep industry. Afternoon is at leisure to relax and enjoy optional activities (not included in tour cost) in Rotorua. Overnight in Rotorua. (B)

DAY 4 - ROTORUA
This morning a rental car will be delivered to your hotel. The remainder of the day at leisure and explore Rotorua and surrounding areas by self drive. Overnight in Rotorua. (B)

DAY 5 - ROTORUA - WELLINGTON
This morning, rental car will be collected from your hotel. Travel by coach to Wellington and take in the spectacular natural landscapes. Stop at Huka Falls for a short walk and photo shooting. See Lake Taupo, the largest fresh water lake in the Southern Hemisphere formed by an unprecedented volcanic explosion 26,000 years ago. Continue through the beautiful Manawatu countryside before arriving in Wellington, New Zealand’s Capital City. Overnight in Wellingon. (B)

DAY 6 - WELLINGTON
Today is at leisure for you to relax and explore Wellington on your own. Overnight in Wellington. (B)

DAY 7 - WELLINGTON – PICTON - KAIKOURA
Transfer from hotel to Wellington ferry terminal. Take the InterIslander ferry across Cook Strait to Picton. Pick up a rental car from Picton and drive to Kaikoura, a town steeped in Maori history and legend. Overnight in Kaikoura. (B)

DAY 8 – KAIKOURA – CHRISTCHURCH
This morning, enjoy a Whale Watch experience by boat (weather permitting).You will have the opportunity to view the magnificent Sperm Whale as well as New Zealand's own tiny Hectors Dolphin, Fur Seals and the Royal Albatross. After the tour travel southbound by self drive to reach “the Garden City” - Christchurch. Overnight in Christchurch. (B)

DAY 9 – CHRISTCHURCH - MT COOK
This morning, explore Christchurch city by self drive. “Must see” icons include Anglican Cathedral, The Arts Centre, The Art Gallery, Botanic Gardens, the Avon River, and Cathedral junction. Afternoon drive to Mt Cook National Park. En route, visit the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo. Overnight at Mt Cook. (B, D)

DAY 10 – MT COOK - QUEENSTOWN
This morning enjoy optional activities (not included in tour cost) at Mt Cook. Afternoon continue travel from Mt Cook to Queenstown by self drive. Overnight in Queenstown. (B)

DAY 11 - QUEENSTOWN
Your rental car will be collected from your hotel this morning. Remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the endless optional attractions available in and around Queenstown. Optional activities are not included in tour price. Overnight in Queenstown. (B)
