From the crest of Mount Anderson look down 1000 metres to South Africa’s most extensive man made forest and the town of Sabie which boasts the largest saw mill in South Africa. Pilgrims Rest is an old gold mining town frozen in time. Now there is an opportunity to try your hand at gold panning.


Graskop situated on the magnificient Drakensberg Escarpment above Kowyn’s Pass, is the gateway to Blyde River Canyon where sites include, the Pinnacle, God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the Three Rondavels


Kruger National Park
It is located in the southern part of the Mpumalanga province and the northern part of the limpopo province. Allow at least 2 days for a visit as the park covers a vast area. Sretching 350 kms from North to South and 60 kms from east to west, its about the size of wales.Kruger is a home to an impressive number of species:147 mammals- including the big five (elephant, rhino, leopard , lion and buffalo), 507 birds, 114 reptiles, 49 fish and 336 trees.

Kruger has 12 main camps, each with restaurants, shops, telephones, laundries and filling stations. Skukuza has an environmental and historical library and an old railway carriage converted into a sports bar. Skukuza ‘the capital of the park’ has a bank,a post office and a doctor.
