Day One: Arrival In Calicut / Kozhikode
Check-in at a hotel in Wayanad – Kalpetta. Have lunch at your leisure. After lunch leave for Pookot Lake.

Pookot Lake is a natural fresh water lake surrounded with evergreen mountains. Boating facilities are also available here. Return back in the evening, have dinner & retire for the night.

Edakkal Caves

Day Two :
After breakfast leave for Edakkal caves. Edakkal caves are prehistoric caves. (It is a soft trekking.) After Edakkal caves, have your packed lunch. Relax for some time. Then drive down to Soochippara waterfalls. Soochippara waterfall is a 3 tiered powerful waterfall situated in the dense equatorial forest of Wayanad. The cliff face here is ideal for rock climbing. Return to hotel in the evening, have dinner and retire for the night.

Day Three:

After breakfast, leave for Kuruwa Dweep with packed lunch.

Kuruwa Island is 955 acres of green forest on the tributaries of the east flowing river Kabani. The island is uninhabited and a paradise with myriad birds. Have packed lunch, relax for an hour & proceed to Tholpetty Wild life sanctuary. You can find here spotted deer, elephants, bison, leopard, tiger…etc. It is 25kms. Drive inside the sanctuary exploring wildlife and return to the hotel in the evening. Have dinner and retire for the night.

Day four :
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for your onward journey to Calicut. Check-in at the hotel in the afternoon. Relax and have your lunch. Do some local sightseeing and shopping or just while away your time at the resort.



Day 5:

Breakfast is followed by a cruise on the River Chaliyar. After noon Lunch and rest of the time is free at your disposal for local sightseeing.

Day 6:
After breakfast leave for the airport or the railway station for your onward journey to Cochin.

Day 7: Arrival Cochin
Arrival at Cochin International airport. Met upon arrival by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Cochin, the commercial capital of Kerala. Rest of the day at leisure.Overnight at the hotel, Cochin

Day 8: Cochin
Breakfast. Proceed for a half-day sightseeing of Cochin. Visit St. Francis church, the oldest church of India, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue and the Chinese Fishing Nets.

Cochin (Kochi) the palm green commercial capital of Kerala is located on the cluster of islands and narrow peninsulas. The older parts of the city are an unlikely blend of medieval Portugal, Holland and an English country village grafted on to the tropical Malabar Coast.

Here you can see the oldest church in India, winding street crammed with 500 year old Portuguese houses, cantilevered Chinese Fishing nets, a Jewish community whose roots go back to the Diaspora, 16th century Synagogue, a palace containing some of India’s most beautiful murals.

Day 9: Cochin– Munnar
Breakfast. Later drive to Munnar, the picturesque hill station of Kerala, popularly famed as ‘Tea City’. Munnar is located at a height of 1600 meters above sea level, at the confluence of three mountain streams. It is the home of Nilgiri Tahrs, a species of wild ibex, which are on the verge of extinction.

Enjoy the cool and sublime climate and the unpolluted environments. You will be visiting Munnar’s tea plantations, Mattupetty Indo-Swiss dairy farm. Walk through the hills kissing the clouds, breathing the sweet smell of Tea. The endless greenery will make you a poet or dip in your favorite book in the lap of Mother Nature.

Periyar Lake

Day 10: Munnar– Periyar
Breakfast. Later check out from the hotel and drive to Periyar through the beautiful scenic valley of the Cardamom Hills of the Western Ghats. On arrival check in to the nature habitat resort. Late in the afternoon you can enjoy a boat ride through the Periyar Lake. Rest of the day at leisure. You can either stroll in the local market or visit the fragrant spice plantations.

Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary – Periyar, one of the well-maintained wild life sanctuaries of South India, sprawls over an area of 777 sq kms. The common sightings here are leopard, tiger, elephant, bison and wild boar. This is one of the best sanctuaries in India for watching the majestic wild life in their natural habitat at close quarters.

Day 11: Periyar - Kumarkom
Breakfast. Later drive down the valley to reach the land of backwaters, with a bird sanctuary overlooking the largest lake of Kerala, “Vembanad”. Full day at leisure to relax in the serenity of the beautiful village. Optional activities available are fishing, boating, sanctuary visit etc.

Kumarakom is a backwater resort as well as a bird sanctuary, and typifies the village life of Kerala. This is where you can enjoy the virgin beauty of Kerala villages. The hub of backwaters, this is also a favorite hideaway of migratory birds. Backwaters are intricate labyrinth of canals and lagoons, which you can find no where else in the world. While at Kumarakom, a walking tour inside the serene sanctuary will definitely prove to be invigorating.

Day 12: Kumarkom - Allepey (by houseboat)
Breakfast. Check in to houseboat for an overnight cruise through the unique backwaters of Kerala. Houseboat will be your transportation for the day and accommodation for the night. Cruise through the palm fringed canals; watch the Paddy fields, village folk.
Relax on board hearing lullaby of the wind and waves. This mysterious strip of emerald green land is stuffed with endless miles of placid backwaters that appends to its charm. Unwind yourself, watching the endless strips of greenery passing by and the emerald green waters meet the crystal blue sky, whilst the houseboat cruises in a relaxing pace. This would be an experience, which you would always cherish to remember.

Cruise till 6 in the evening by when the houseboat halts in the lake for overnight stay. (Next day, cruising starts at 7 am.)

In the evening, enjoy a splendid candlelit dinner onboard houseboat.

Day 13: Allepey– Kovalam (180 km; 4 hrs)
Breakfast. Check out at Alleppey and drive to your heritage resort in Kovalam. En route, you will be whisked off for a half day city tour of Trivandrum. Yow will be visiting Horse Palace, Napier museum and the local market. Return to your resort by evening.

Trivandrum the capital city of Kerala is a city, which blends the ancient and the modern. You can still see the relics of ancient architectural style prominent in most of its buildings.

Day Fourteen: KOVALAM
Breakfast. Full day at leisure/ relax by the beach. You can take a soothing ayurvedic massage at your resort (optional).

Day Fifteen: DEPARTURE/ TRIVANDRUM

Breakfast. Later in time transfer to Trivandrum Airport for the flight to your onward destination.
